Halfdan Egedius, meet Eanger Irving Couse

On 8 June 2013 I visited Maryhill Museum in Washington State and the nearby Stonehenge replica:

  1. I hadn't heard of the Maryhill Museum, how interesting. More complete than Stonehenge was my thought before I scrolled down and read the post.

  2. Thanks Lisa, it had been about 20 years since I'd visited Maryhill and the Stonehenge replica even though it's not terribly far for me! Quite a story of how the museum came to be.

  3. To do it properly they should have constructed two highways next to it (I still remember how perplexed I was when I found out about the actual surroundings of the mystical Stonehenge).

  4. This replica is in an isolated, semi-desert spot with very little population around. I'll have to go up there in my white "Druid" robes on the solstice next Friday.
