Yes, and the world more cohesive then (in some ways), this card sent the year before WWI started in Europe. Funny how the Dutch were singled out, and the open car is quaint. Difficult to imagine the 100th anniversary of the start of the Great War is later this year.

ReplyDeleteRob, that Dutch "accent" is strange, even here there were lots of anti-German feelings as well in those times.
