One of my favorite books is the Artaud Anthology published by City Lights. I've also read 'Artaud' by Martin Esslin, which left me with a great admiration for the man.The Anthology is always worth going back to.Oddities V is great considering how young you were.
I appreciate the kind words Ray. At the time we were limited to mail order and placing copies in local bookstores, so I felt the urge to redistribute the material after so many years. Impasto Artaud was one of many aliases we used -- a friend of mine (the editor) created this page. I have the City Lights Artaud anthology as well. I can't remember if it's in this book or elsewhere, but I really enjoyed his writings on Mexico, Van Gogh, and other works. Of course, Artaud was an excellent actor as well. I haven't read Esslin's book, but sounds good.
