Taken near Liegnitz, Silesia, ca. 1870. The "xothique" portion of the web address is a nod to Clark Ashton Smith's fictional continent of Zothique.
Another good photograph, Jonathan. I can see you take after your father. My sisters in Australia seem to have most of our family snaps.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ray. A chip off the old block, no doubt, in some ways, ha. They had a kind of intensity to their expressions, in this studio photograph. Hopefully you'll at least get copies of your family photos someday, from your sisters.
