About Me

My photo
Adalbert is a forum for me, to post ephemera, photography, poetry, occasional travel notes, and various spontaneous motions. Cover photo: Parsonage where my great-grandfather spent his early years. Taken near Liegnitz, Silesia, ca. 1870. The "xothique" portion of the web address is a nod to Clark Ashton Smith's fictional continent of Zothique.

  1. An interesting selection of stamps. I think Mucha's works of art always looks wonderful on stamps. I bought a diary with Mucha illustrations for this year, and so far it's been 'too nice' to write in :).

  2. They don't make them like that anymore. The masks give me the willies. The Czechs were rightfully proud of Mucha.
